Thrasher: Shotgun

It's usually the Nazi who writes these informative reviews for you, but I'm a try to take a stab at this one. I always like Thrasher videos because there's no fancy editing or titles. If you want some straight raw skating Shotgun is for you. Another thing I like is that there's tons footage and a slue of bonus shit. It's like a whole other video to watch. To top it off this video has Peter Hewitt, Peter Hewitt and more Peter Hewitt. The dude is an animal.

The video starts off with the Antihero crew taking one of their tent city trips to Montana. Some sick shit form the usual suspects TNT, Tony two beers, Gerwer and Hewitt with hint of my all time fav Julien Stranger. There is also a cameo from old World Industry man Randy Colvin who seems to fit in nicely with the crew. Next up is Kyle Berard. If you haven't seen this dude skate it's like your playing your DVD and 2X speed. ATR (All terrain ripper if you're the Nazi) killing and smacking that coping like it wanted a spanking and also skating street alls the while looking like he has fun on his stick.

There's a pool cuts session section mixed in there with the likes of Chet Childress, Sam Hitz, Omar and others who were born in the deep end. That's followed by a vans New Zealand part with TNT, Dylan Reider, Angel Ramirez, Andrew Allan, Ethan Fowler and others. A good mix of street skating and other various weird tranny spots at Lee Ralph's home turf.

Next up there is a duet with the Lizard King and Adam Dyet. I know some guys bag on Dyet for his style or whatever, but I like guys who just go out and skate. They look like they don't give a shit and the filmer just so happens to be there while they skate. They also show they are capable of skating some transition at Washington St. Love him or hate him Dyet can do some shit. He can also shotgun a 22oz. pretty fast.

Then the Creature dudes hit up Australia. The Vertical Vampire resurrects and he, Partain, Hitz along with guest Peter Hewitt hit up some crazy spots. Don't know if you seen it but there's some cement halfpipe with just a 2x4 for coping. Wild shit. Another dude I'm pretty psyched on is David Gravette. This young gun is totally slept on.   He can get busy on some serious rails, ollie some huge gap then go to Pizzy and do blunt fakies. He kind of reminds me of a thrashed out version of Sean Malto. Watch out for Gravette in the future for sure.

There are miscellaneous sections mixed in here and there with too much stuff to name. Like I said this video has tons of footage. In another section our men Peter Hewitt, Navs Sam Hitz, along with Emanuel Guzman take a trip to the Cayman Islands. Isn't this where George Costanza was told by a psychic not to go on a trip too? Anyway this park looks huge with 3/4 walls and big ass extensions. There are some obscure stuff like a bank with a parking block melted in (Something the Nazi would be all over).

After a few more miscellaneous sections Dan Drehobl comes up with the last part. His crazy ass bag of tricks is one of a kind. Cancer Dan comes with an assortment of pivot and blunt variations. His tranny to wallride at the hook spot which was also on the cover of Skateboarder was straight bonkers. Can't get enough of Corpsy.

All in all a definite pop into your DVD and with all the can cracking that goes on you'll sooner or later head to the fridge.
